In the final quarter of 2024, the performance of the leading medical apps on the Android platform in the UK displayed notable trends. This analysis is based on data provided by Sensor Tower, offering insights into weekly downloads and active user statistics.

The NHS App maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at around 42.8K in late October. However, a decline was observed towards the end of December, with downloads dropping to approximately 32.1K. Active user numbers mirrored this trend, starting at 1.8M and experiencing a dip to 1.6M by the close of the quarter.

Pharmacy2U NHS Prescriptions saw a consistent download pattern, with numbers ranging between 3.3K and 5.9K weekly. Active user engagement fluctuated, starting at 40.2K and reaching 58.8K by the end of December.
